Last Macworld ever starts today!  I'm betting that the third party announcements are more interesting than Apple's...

amirat - If you're familiar with HTML and CSS Styling, you can take the source code of the google form and apply style to it in the HTML snippet.

Be sure that your input fields and submit button contain the same HTML code.

Additionally, you may try sprout builder (www.sproutbuilder.com).  I have had success using this to make a bit more formal looking form, but recently its service has been spotty.

I followed the instructions I found on Maciverse for using Google Docs to embed a form into my iWeb website. From what I can tell, though, there is no way of formatting the form. Is this true? Do I really just take what I get? I know its free, but I thought you might at least be able to resize, add a frame, whatever. If you can't format it (I really would like it to look nicer and fit in with the rest of my page), can you suggest something else? Can I create a form in Acrobat and link to a PDF?

Thanks!

You could take your RSS feed from your blog posts and pull them into your site with the help of Yahoo Pipes:

This article describes that approach. http://www.maciverse.com/embed-custom-rss-feeds-into-iweb.html

Copy the HTML out from Yahoo Pipes of your Blog RSS feed and past that into a snippet.

What I am looking to do is have summaries of my blog post on the site.  Something similar to the snippet FriendFeed offers.  I have considered just using FriendFeed to display my post, but would prefer something with a little more focus.

I have MobileMe for iPhone sync, and idisk and trying to maximize my $$ worth.

because Wordpress is a complete system there really isn't a snippet that you could use give you the blogging features you're looking for as an embedded item in iWeb.

If you want a robust system, Wordpress on its own is more likely to have the features you want.

What specifically Wordpress feature(s) are you looking to include in your site?

I was thinking about starting a blog that people can read on my iWeb site.  I can see the limitations of the iWeb blog feature, and wanted to see if their is a good Wordpress, or other blog  HTML snippet that I can embed.  Please let me know also of any cons for not doing it this way.

This is in response to the questions from the How to Import Gmail Contacts to Address Book post on the main maciverse.com site.

We've discovered that for some reason when exporting your gmail contacts to Address Book format only the first few contacts are exported.

To work around this problem and still import your Gmail Contacts to Address Book:
  • Export to a CSV File
  • You can try and import this file directly to Address Book but many report problems with the csv file format exported from Gmail
  • Open the CSV file with MS Excel or Numbers
  • Save or Export the file as a Tab Delimited Txt File
  • Import the Txt file to Address Book, select the columns you'd like to import

I was successful at importing the file exported from Gmail in csv file using these steps.  Let me know if you have questions or other suggested work arounds

For me, the greatest feature of the nano was its combination with Nike +.  I used the nano more while running than any other time.

In fact, I still prefer to use that combination for working out than any other Apple device.

Rumors have been going around that Apple will start selling a 4gb version of the iPhone for $99.  Of course, the primary retailer for this cheaper phone would be walmart.

Does selling a smart phone at that price take anything away from the "cool" factor of having an iPhone?
