Many Mac users start out on the web through creating sites with iWeb but eventually feel the need to add more features, functionality, and capabilities to their websites. For these users we recommend WordPress, the robust software utilized on websites across the global. In fact, Maciverse.com runs on WordPress.
One of our more popular articles is about importing your iWeb blogs to WordPress. This article walks users through migrating their iWeb blog content to WordPress.
What we found though was that one thing that was limiting more people from moving to WordPress was that they didn’t want to have to deal with database configurations, FTP, and the WordPress setup process. To help these people out, we’re now offering for a limited time Free WordPress Setup.
To be eligible for a Free WordPress Setup you’ll need a few things and to sign up for a NEW hosting plan with HostGator (For as little as $4.95 per month), an impressive, powerful, and reliable webhosting platform. Be sure to sign up through a link on this page.
To receive a discount on your order be sure to enter: MaciverseFreeWordpress In the coupon field when registering for your site. Failing to do so may limit our ability to assist you in your free setup.

February 23, 2011 at 4:04 pmIF you are using WordPress on Maciverse.com where are the dates on the postings and articles.
One of you articles or postings mentioned new anouncements of Lion and the converging of ios and OSX, so I was naturally curious when the announcement occured. Yet your site set up leaves out the dates. How can you expect us not to be curious about the date with an example like the above.

February 13, 2012 at 1:49 amThank you for this help. I am about to sign up to start my own website. It is not clear to me, however, if I can use my iWeb templates with the WordPress site. I find creating what I want so much easier with iWeb. I can type in the template itself as I'm writing and adding photos is direct and I can see them immediately, WordPress does not seem to allow me this pleasure. Am I missing something with WordPress?
