I was fighting with this last night.  I had an empty address book on my mac and everything working great between gmail and my iphone until....I pressed syncronize with gmail.  all my contacts disappeared from everywhere!  luckily i made a backup right before this. One thing worth noting...make sure you gmail contacts are selected as your default contact list on your iphone.  otherwise when you add contacts to your iphone it doesn&#039;t go to gmail. </description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Thanks for this post!
