This coming week marks a new chapter in American History as President-Elect Obama will start his Presidency on January 20th. It also marks a new chapter in technological history as the event will be streamed over the internet and made available on the go through the iPhone.

Ustream.tv has announced that they will be streaming the inauguration through their website and will also have an iPhone application that will allow people to watch streaming shows (including the Inauguration) on their phones.

The application officially hasn’t made it to the App Store but Ustream.TV founder John Hame expects the application to be available anytime now. If you are going to be traveling about during the inauguration but want to keep your eye on the events, stay tuned for the official release of the Ustream.tv app to the iPhone app store.
